'The Walking Dead' season 7 premiere date, spoilers news 2016: New characters coming; who will die first?

It won't be long until horror drama television series "The Walking Dead" season 7 will start airing. But before it could do so, spoilers have been released to stir up more excitement among fans.

According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, new faces will be joining in the series when it returns for its seventh installment. Executive producer and director Greg Nicotero was the one who spilled that new characters will be introduced.

"I think it's safe to say that we're going to get a chance to meet a lot of new people," Nicotero tells the publication.

He did not name anyone but fans are speculating that one of those fresh faces could be book favorite Ezekiel who has a pet tiger named Shiva. Ezekiel actually leads a community called "The Kingdom." His background is in line with what Nicotero divulged in the interview. He said that in season 7, they will be exploring a larger world and present new groups of people. Could Ezekiel's world be the one that Nicotero referred to?

While there will be additions, there will also be subtractions. Reports reveal that someone is expected to die in season 7, just as in the previous season. And to keep fans wondering who among the characters will be saying goodbye next, the show released 11 posters.

Each photo showed a character hero staring down at Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) infamous barb-wired-covered bat named Lucille. Apparently, it's suggesting that all of the 11 characters' lives are in danger.

But who will die and who will survive? Who among Daryl (Norman Reedus), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Rosita (Christian Serratos), Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Carl (Chandler Riggs), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), and Sasha (Sonequa Martin) will never see the light of day at the beginning of season 7? The answer is still to be known so fans should stay tuned for more updates.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 is set to premiere this October on AMC.
