'The Young and the Restless' spoilers for Aug. 18: Jack confronts Victor; Billy makes amends with Cane
The Aug. 18 episode of "The Young and the Restless" is said to be packed with more drama as spoilers reveal that a confrontation will take place.
As detailed in spoilers, Jack's agenda will include facing off with Victor regarding his collaboration with Phyllis. Jack will tell Victor to stay away from his wife regardless of the plans that they are brewing for Summer and Luca. Apparently, Phyllis has teamed up with her worst enemy for the sake of her daughter.
Summer is getting married to Luca and Phyllis isn't liking it. She wants to do everything in her power to break the two up and she knows that Victor is on the same page with her. Victor hates Luca for his granddaughter as well and will protect her in every way that he can.
Although Phyllis hates every fiber of Victor, she's willing to temporarily put that aside just to get some help in stopping the wedding. But for Jack, their association isn't necessary, and he wants Phyllis to have nothing to do with Victor.
Another report noted that Victor will defend his actions. But even so, Jack will still not approve of the Victor–Phyllis tandem.
Meanwhile, Ashley reminds Phyllis about her own issues. She has been too caught up with her daughter's life that she's forgotten she has her own marriage to fix.
Ashley will tell her to work things out with Jack before it's too late. Their marriage can end up falling anytime if it's not fixed as soon as possible. Phyllis will listen, but viewers know that the Billy–Phyllis affair isn't over, and it's bound to surface again soon.
In the meantime, spoilers said that Billy is busy trying to fix things with Cane. His mom is in control of his life, and if he doesn't work on the right side of the things, he knows that trouble will be there to catch him. Thus, he will try to make things work with Cane as they run the business together. He will do whatever it is that will please Jill.
"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays on CBS.
