'The Young and the Restless' spoilers for week of Oct. 3: Sharon's secret exposed; Nick and Chelsea grow closer

"The Young and the Restless" spoilers for the week of Oct. 3 suggest that a secret will be exposed and a spark is going to ignite even more.

According to reports, Sharon (Sharon Case) will finally figure out who has been giving her the mysterious calls. It has been Patty (Stacy Haiduk) all along and now she's very anxious that her secret about baby Sully will come out. It has been a long-time secret of hers since Sage (Kelly Sullivan) died. Sage was close to telling everyone the truth but her car accident happened.

Sharon's secret was safe and she was able to keep the truth away for some time. But now that Patty has resurfaced, she's going to get exposed. Spoilers also said that Patty will be sending Sharon something in the mail, which will lead to a certain showdown between the two.

However, Sharon will panic and will realize that she has to tell the truth first before Patty gets to it. Things will turn sour though as Dylan (Steve Burton) will find out about the secret and the relationship of the two will become shaky. Luckily for Sharon, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will be on her side and she will be doing everything she can to protect Sharon.

Meanwhile, the spark between Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is undeniably strong and even though the latter wants to be left alone, it seems like her heart is telling her otherwise. As detailed in Celeb Dirty Laundry, Chelsea and Nick will be spending some time together even after Chelsea tells Nick that she isn't ready for anything romantic yet and that she only sees him as a friend. She's also still grieving for Adam's (Justin Hartley) death.

They will be casually hanging out at the park with Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) and just talking about each other's lives. The two are not going to take their bonding session deeper anytime soon, but it's speculated already that it won't be long until deep feelings will grow.
