'The Young and the Restless' spoilers news update: Victor shot down by Ian; Nikki and Phyllis put on hostage
Fans of CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless" are in for a thrill in the coming episodes as a hostage taking will happen and the victim is not just going to be one but two.
According to spoilers, Victor will be shot down by Ian. Everyone will be in chaos as Ian will cause a scene including grabbing Nikki as his hostage. Ian had planned this for a time already to try and make his great escape from prison. He had also planned to use the Abbott cabin as his safety. What he doesn't expect is that the cabin is not going to be empty.
Fans may remember that Phyllis stayed at the cabin for Jack's birthday. But since Jack had to leave for Adam's trial, Phyllis was left all alone. Billy went there though and they spent a time together with Phyllis confessing that she loves him, who also expressed the same feelings to her. After Billy leaves, Phyllis is left all alone again. But not for long as she will be surprised by Ian's arrival with Nikki.
Spoilers reveal that Phyllis will be very shocked to see the former cult leader. Ian will also be surprised to see her and will later on exclaim what a delightful reunion it is for them. Now, Ian has two hostages. The lives of Nikki and Phyllis will be in danger and if they don't think of something fast to escape the hostage, one of them could end up dead. As for Ian, he has nothing to lose if he decides to kill Nikki.
Meanwhile, Paul and Christine will be questioning Victor about the shooting. It seems like he will be accused of the plot but he will tell them about everything he does for his family. He will even remind them that he took a bullet for Nikki. Aside from that, he will tell them to put the blame on Adam.
"The Young and the Restless" airs every Monday to Friday on CBS.
