'The Young and the Restless' spoilers: Phyllis pays Bethany to keep quiet; Devon finds out Hilary's secret

"The Young and the Restless" soap opera is moving forward this week with episodes that are surely going to have fans sitting down tightly as many events will unfold and storyline twists will take place.

For starters, the messy situation with Phyllis and Billy continues on. According to a report by Celeb Dirty Laundry, the secret affair of the two is also now a secret of Bethany. However, the problem is that Bethany isn't on the couple's side as she is expected to benefit greatly from what she has just learned.

Phyllis and Billy previously got into a motor accident. But while Phyllis was okay, Billy was sent to the hospital. Phyllis ran away though as she does not want anyone to know about her involvement in the accident. Instead, she lied that it was Bethany who was with Billy. Now she has to talk to Bethany and the only way she can keep the woman stay quiet about the truth is to pay her.

But Phyllis is well aware that paying for Bethany's silence will not cause her to disappear. She will stay to haunt and most likely blackmail Billy and Phyllis. Billy wants to come clean already to cease making a bigger mess but Phyllis doesn't want to risk her relationship with her husband. This gives Bethany a hold on the two.

Meanwhile, Hilary's actions are getting out of hand and Devon is sensing it already. As noted by She Knows Soaps, Neil will tell Hilary that she is pushing Neville's drug too fast. Hilary will respond negatively though and will tell Neil not to underestimate her. She has also been keeping it as a secret from Devon, who will eventually find out what it is and forgiving will be an issue for him, Soap Central cites. Their marriage will also go rocky at this point.
