'The Young and the Restless' spoilers, plot news 2016: Travis and Victoria rekindle love; Michael helps Adam with new case

"The Young and the Restless" spoilers for the week of Aug. 22 hint that there's going to be a rekindling of love, jealousy, and a new criminal charge that's going to happen.

As detailed in a report, Victoria will be heading to Mexico to see Travis. She has been sent by Phyllis to talk to Travis about returning to Genoa City and help in revealing Luca's real colors as well as debunk his claims on the oil crisis. Victoria is determined to bring down Luca.

But her mission in Mexico will swerve from its real purpose as Travis will romantically sway her. Spoilers reveal that Victoria and Travis' reunion will bring back the old flame between them, and it won't be long before the two gets intimate. Things will even get more serious as Travis will invite Victoria to go away with him.

Victoria will easily give in to Travis' romanticizing but will she be tempted to run away with him? She can't deny that she still likes him and may want to spend some time with him. But it's not as easy as it seems since she has children to attend to, and Billy wouldn't like the idea of Victoria packing up her bags and taking the kids with her.

Meanwhile, it is said that Billy will feel a pang of jealousy after he finds out that Victoria is with Travis. Viewers know that he's involved with Phyllis, and the two will be meeting up this week for a chat. And while they have parted ways because of Jill, the spark is undeniably still alive between them. But lately, Billy will feel drawn to her ex, and he will lose his focus on Phyllis.

Fans will also see Michael help out Adam this week, according to spoilers. After being charged with assault to, Adam's situation becomes worse right when everything is turning out great. His prison sentence for the murder will be lifted, but he will still be in trouble for the assault. Fortunately, Michael is determined to get him out from the pit.
