'The Young and the Restless' spoilers, plot news: Avery says goodbye; Cane and Billy brawl

"The Young and the Restless" spoilers for Thursday, July 21 episode reveals that a character is permanently going to say goodbye.

Reports say that Avery, played by Jessica Collins, will be leaving Genoa City for good as Collins herself has already decided to depart the show. But her exit isn't going to be as simple as that because it is expected to be an emotional one. She will be saying goodbye to all of her family and friends who have been close to her heart.

Fans will also see Avery bidding farewell to Dylan who has played a special part in her life. Spoilers reveal that Avery will talk to Dylan and tell him that she is never coming back. It's still to be known how Dylan will take the news and how Avery will respond to Dylan's reaction.

As to the reason why Collins is leaving, she said in an interview that she is no longer happy with the direction that her character is going. When she was offered a contract renewal, she declined after finding out that there was no room for discussion about her character.

Meanwhile, spoilers reveal that Cane and Billy will be having a brawl. Their fight is rooted from Jill's plot of trying to reunite Billy and Victoria. Jill thinks that Billy is wasting his time being single. That's why she decided to put matters into her own hands and the best solution she had in mind is Victoria and Billy getting together again.

Jill will put Cane in charge with some of the plans for Brash and Sassy. However, Billy will not like this idea. He will even lash out at Cane for agreeing to Jill's request. Their argument will lead to nowhere with Bill eventually throwing a punch at Cane's jaw. Cane will then retaliate. It will only stop when Victoria comes in between to halt the two men from killing each other.
