"The Young and The Restless" continues to wow this week after Monday's episode, where the late Jeanne Cooper, who played Katherine Chancellor on the soap opera, was featured in a flashback.

To recap, Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) was planning to remodel the mansion owned by Katherine when memories of her old friend flooded back.

As the week of July 25 continues, "The Young and The Restless" will see Tristan Rogers reprise his role as Colin Atkinson. It's been a while since the actor appeared in the series.

The last time fans saw him in "The Young and The Restless" was last year. Now, fans who have been missing Colin will be in for a big treat in the Wednesday episode of the soap opera.

Rogers have been starring in "General Hospital," but it looks like he has not forgotten about "The Young and The Restless." Details about his return remain a mystery.

Today's episode will also see Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) confront Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) about her decision to leave the company. Lauren appears to be not on board about this at all, but it is still unknown if she will convince Cane to stay.

Meanwhile, another confrontation to look forward to in the next episode of "The Young and The Restless" is that of Jill Abbot (Jess Walton) and Phyllis Abbot (Gina Tognoni).

The former wants to be crystal clear about the explanation she gave, but the latter appears to have prepared for this war or words.

In other related news, "Star Trek" alum Nichelle Nichols will be part of the 11,000<sup>th episode milestone of the soap opera. She was cast to play the role of Lucinda, who strikes an "emotional connection" with someone.
