'The Young and the Restless' spoilers, plot news: Nikki files divorce, Mariah forced to keep secret, Billy meets someone from past
Things will be complicated for the lives of "The Young and the Restless" characters this week as many events will take place beginning with Nikki's filing of divorce from Victor.
According to a spoiler report by Enstars, Nikki will finally end things between her and her notorious husband. After all the years that they have stood for each other, Nikki believes that it's finally time to step up by serving Victor divorce papers while he is in jail.
Spoilers suggest that everything will go smoothly as she processes the papers with the help of Michael. And though she has not talked to Victor yet, she has made up her mind already and decided to push through with it by signing the papers even before going to check on Victor at the prison. But that wouldn't be much of a problem as someone else will be tipping Victor about the divorce. As detailed in Celeb Dirty Laundry, Summer will be telling her grandfather about her grandmother's plan. So when Nikki finally faces Victor, he wouldn't be too surprised anymore.
Meanwhile, Mariah is having her own struggles. Soap Shows noted that she has been asked by Sharon to keep quiet about the truth about baby Sully. She has already convinced her mother to tell the truth for Nick's sake but Sharon isn't budging, reminding her that if the secret goes out, families will be destroyed. Mariah is left with no choice but to follow her mother. However, her conscience will be killing her so she will turn to Kevin for help.
Billy will be turning to someone else as well. It will be someone from his past, a waitress who used to work in a bar that he previously owned. Soap Central hints that while Billy is drinking his sorrows away because of Phyllis, he will come across Bethany who will be flirting with him in the bar. Billy will invite Bethany back to his place and the two will share a steamy night. Will he finally get over Phyllis?
