'The Young and the Restless' spoilers, plot rumors update: Romantic getaway of Jack and Phyllis gets interrupted; Hilary ends her marriage

Events that will unfold for this week in "The Young and the Restless" will be a big one especially for Adam. His trial is going to move forward but it's not going to be good for him.

According to spoilers, Adam will be surprised with how his case will progress. Victor has something for him and it's going to stun the judge and his family. Jack will also be present during the start of Adam's trial. But prior to that, he will be on a romantic getaway with Phyllis.

Phyllis will take Jack to the Abbott cabin for his birthday. It's nothing that Phyllis planned though as it was just a spontaneous plan that she came up with to find an excuse for forgetting his birthday. She has been so caught up with her affair with Billy that she forgot her husband's special day. She will get away with her shortcoming though as Jack will buy in with her "surprise" getaway.

They will take off to the place but it will be interrupted when Jack gets a memo that Adam's trial will be starting. Jack will put aside his quality time with Phyllis to be at the trial, leaving Phyllis all alone in the cabin.

She won't be alone for too long though as Billy will head over to the cabin because of jealousy after watching her and Jack playing sweet at the GCAC. Phyllis will feel guilty but not guilty enough not to spend some romantic time with Billy at the cabin. It's still to be known if there's going to be a twist. Jack may return for a reason and will catch them.

Meanwhile, Hilary is done with her marriage with Devon. Celeb Dirty Laundry detailed that Hilary will confront Devon to end her marriage with him. However, Devon is not giving up just yet. In fact, he will be channeling his anger to Jack who has no idea. Devon is aware that Hilary has been eyeing Jack and if he can't stop his wife, he might as well stop the other party.

"The Young and the Restless" airs every Monday to Friday on CBS.
