Game developer Respawn Entertainment and renowned publisher Electronic Arts are hoping that the sequel of the critically acclaimed "Titanfall" will be as good as the original. Both companies are currently working on "Titanfall 2," which is expected to be a hit once it comes out on the market. The new installment will no longer be like its predecessor, which was released exclusively for Xbox. The sequel will be available on several gaming platforms.
Electronic Arts has recently released a teaser trailer for the new title and one of the biggest revelations is the inclusion of PlayStation 4 and PC platforms. It has definitely made many fans excited about the upcoming game. However, the inclusion of Windows PC version has been expected by some gamers after Microsoft decided to have a connected content between their PC platform and Xbox One through the Windows 10 operating system.
The big surprise was the confirmation of a PlayStation 4 version of "Titanfall 2." Previous rumors suggested that the company has been planning to develop the next installment for all gaming platforms. During the BAFTA Game Awards, Electronic Arts hinted that the sequel will be available for PlayStation 4 and the latest reveal confirms it.
During his interview with IGN, Vince Zampella, founder and CEO of Respawn Entertainment made a statement that made many "Titanfall" players excited.
"I guess EA announced a sequel, so I could play coy and pretend I don't know anything about it, or... yeah. So we're working on a sequel," Zampella said. "No official name yet, but we're working on that. That's the main focus but we're starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow! It'll be multiplatform."
Gamers all over the world are certainly looking forward to the release of the game. They are hoping that the game developer and publisher will roll out the sequel before the year ends.
