Ubisoft's upcoming open world tactical shooter video game "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is now available for pre-order. However, those who have been looking forward to it should take note that the game isn't going to come out until next year.

The game has no exact release date as of yet. Rumors suggest though that Ubisoft Paris may have the game out in the public sometime later this year or in 2017. It will become available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Apparently, fans will have to be extra patient if they want to pick up the game.

As for the game details, Xbox Achievements noted that the new game in the franchise is going to be set inside the region of Bolivia. It will permit up to four players who will act as the Ghost operatives sent on a mission to take on the antagonist of the game which is the ruthless Santa Blanca drug cartel led by boss El Sueño. The gamers will need to save the Bolivian people by breaking the alliances between the drug lords and the corrupt government.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, the new game will be taking on a different approach. If the previous titles carried a futuristic theme, "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will just be going a few years ahead, which means there will be no ultramodern weapons. It will simply be a world that players can better identify with. There will be various terrains as well as weather changes like rain and fog that will constantly take place.

Ubisoft Paris has a lot in store for their fans as they are going to release five separate special editions. The game will reportedly come with a Deluxe Edition, a Gold Edition, the Fallen Angel Edition, Limited Edition, and the Calavera Collector's Case. Those who pre-order will also get a bonus mission which is "The Peruvian Connection."

More details are expected to be unveiled this coming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 that will be held on June 14–16.
