'Vampire Diaries' season 8 spoilers update Will Kat Graham's send-off bring back Nina Dobrev's Elena?
"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 may or may not the supernatural drama's last but it is for Kat Graham, who will reprise her role as Kat in the upcoming season for the final time.
It's hard to imagine or predict what Bonnie's exit from "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 would be like, but it will surely be intriguing how the show will tackle the character's entwined fate with Elena (Nina Dobrev).

In season 6, the last season Dobrev appeared in, Elena was cursed to be in deep sleep as long as Bonnie is alive. When Bonnie leaves "The Vampire Diaries" season 8, it is expected that this story will be resolved.
Even if it will be tackled, it is still a mystery if Dobrev will be involved in it. However, fans will recall that when she left the show, she gave her word about making a comeback for the epic conclusion of "The Vampire Diaries."
If "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 will wrap up the vampire saga (there have been many indications that it would), Dobrev is likely going to return, as what she promised to executive producer Julie Plec.
However, Plec knows that what Dobrev said a couple of years back will still depend on the situation and the circumstances the actress is in and that it is subject to change.
"It's what she and I kind of agreed on when she decided to move on, and it's what I've got in my head," Plec told TVLine of Dobrev's plan to return in the series finale of "The Vampire Diaries."
"Obviously things can change throughout time, if the show goes on longer than we expect it to, or if we all collectively decide it would be fun to bring her back earlier, and she wanted to," she continued.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 is expected to premiere this fall. When the show returns, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) will go on a killing spree.
With Bonnie powerless, she will turn to Stefan (Paul Wesley), Alaric (Matthew Davis) and Caroline (Candice King) for help.
