He also posted a photo of blood on the floor, which he captioned "Set life on 'Vikings' tends to be a bloody mess." He also shared a clip of a stunt rehearsal for "Vikings" season 4.

Last month, Henderson posted a selfie of him as Ivar the Boneless, and teased fans to "Expect some bloody business" in the latter half of "Vikings" season 4.

Jasper Paakkonen, who plays the role of Halfdan the Black in "Vikings," also shared a photo of him Peter and Franzen, who plays King Harald Finehair that he took in between takes.

Their faces were covered in dirt and blood that is most likely of others and not of his character. With this, it can be said that there "Vikings" season 4 could stage another bloody warfare.

The first half of "Vikings" season 4 ended with Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) returning to Kattegat to find an heir to the throne. The trailer for the upcoming episodes hints that he will be building up Ivar as his successor.

There haven't been any solid updates on the return of "Vikings" season 4, nor the release date. The Twitter account for the show simply teases that the series will return "later this year."

When "Vikings" season 4 is back on air, fans will also see Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) back in action and Ragnar returning to Paris. Rollo (Clive Standen) won't be missing the action despite Standen's busy schedule.
