'Vikings' season 4B air date, spoilers update: Time slot changed; Ragnar reappears in Kattegat

The second half of "Vikings" season 4 is still a few months away but updates have already made rounds on the internet. Fans who are looking forward to catching the new episodes will have to take note that the schedule of the series has been changed.

\"Vikings\" season 4B premieres on Nov. 30. | History Asia

As detailed in a report, "Vikings" season 4B will now start airing episodes every Wednesday night instead of its usual Thursday night slot on History channel. It was also announced that it will be airing an hour earlier now.

The midseason premiere will pick up a few years after what happened in the last episode in which Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) had an encounter with his brother Rollo (Clive Standen) in Paris. But Ragnar's reputation was put to shame after losing against Rollo. This led him to run away and enter a life of exile.

Spoilers suggested that when the show returns, Ragnar will be making a reappearance in Kattegat. But his comeback will not be low-profile as it is said that he will be triggering a chain of events that no one ever thought would happen except for the Seer.

Ragnar will also be coming home to see how his sons have turned out. Aside from that, spoilers said that Ragnar will be dealing with unfinished business in Wessex with King Ecbert (Linus Roache). Ragnar previously made some arrangements with the king and kept it as a secret from his family. But now that his secret is out, he will be facing his sons and wife.

Meanwhile, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) is said to have something up her sleeve for Kattegat. Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) will also be going on an expedition to the Mediterranean with his new boat made by Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard). Reports also cited that more of Ivar's (James Quinn Markey) character will be explored in the series.

"Vikings" season 4B will premiere on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 9 p.m. EDT on History.
