'Witcher 3' DLC release date update: Game gathers new awards, DLC release set in April?
The "Witcher 3" has been racking up awards after awards from different video game organizations. Fans are happy that the game is getting the recognition it deserves. However, many of them are more excited about what the game will offer in the future.

In the recently-concluded SXSW Gaming Awards held in Texas, "Witcher 3" took home several awards including the "Game of the Year," which is the highlight of the event. Other awards they received include Excellence in Technical Achievement and Excellence in Narrative.
Justin Burnham, SXSW gaming producer, has nothing but praises in his statement to the critically acclaimed video game.
"CD Projekt Red created something tremendously special with 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' and that's why it's our Video Game of the Year," Burnham said. "The characters are rich, the gameplay is fantastic and the intricate story makes it a pleasure to get lost in the world. It's a prime example of a game that pushes the limits of what digital entertainment can accomplish."
Meanwhile, the rumored release of the new DLC in April is getting fans pretty excited about the game. The "Witcher 3" developer has not confirmed any information with regard to the DLC release; however, many of its followers are hoping that a new expansion will finally come out anytime soon.
The new DLC, which is going to be titled "Blood And Wine," will add more features to the game including its new setting in the place called, Toussaint. The expansion is said to also bring in new songs to the game.
As of the moment, all fans can do is wait for the official announcement from CD Projekt RED. Rumor has it that if the DLC fails to come out in April, the company will roll it out in the middle of the year. If rumors prove to be true, fans can expect the game to arrive before July.
