'Wreck-it Ralph 2' spoilers: director Rich Moore reveals plot details

After the announcement of Disney's "Wreck-it Ralph 2" a few days ago, director Rich Moore tells fans more of what's in store for them in the sequel of the hit 2012 Disney movie.
In an interview with Collider, Moore goes into specifics about the plot of the next movie, albeit not into great detail. Disney has yet to reveal the full synopsis.
According to Moore, the title of the sequel might pretty much be "Super Wreck-it Ralph," a possible nod to the game "Super Mario Brothers." There are still no final plans on what the film's title will be. "It might not be the perfect fit; but spiritually, it is my favorite frontrunner right now," says Moore when he was asked about the title.
The movie will have Ralph (John C. Reilly) and friends moving out of the arcade and into the world of the internet — with Ralph, apparently, "breaking" the internet. The film is also set on the present day (well, present day by 2018), six years after the first movie, which was released back in 2012.
Moore says that he has been working on the film for two-and-a-half years, immediately right after the first one. The writer for the first "Wreck-it Ralph" movie, Phil Johnston, will be returning, but this time, as a co-director. Moore and Johnston have recently worked together to bring another smash hit for Disney with the film "Zootopia," so fans can only be positive that "Wreck-it Ralph 2" will be a crowd-pleaser.
The movie is set to release in March 2018, but fans who are looking forward to more Disney animated films can wait for upcoming movies like "Moana," a story about a girl who travels with the Hawaiian demi-god Maui (voiced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), and "Gigantic," Disney's own take on the story of "Jack and the Beanstalk."
