Xbox Live Games with Gold September 2016 free games list predictions: New titles revealed, include Assassin's Creed Chronicles, Earthlock: Festival of Magic
August is coming to an end, and this means a new batch of game titles will be available for free for the month of September for Xbox Live Gold members. There will be a total of four games that Microsoft will make free for download for the subscribers. Two will be for Xbox One and the other two will be for Xbox 360.

As detailed in a report, the free games for the Xbox One console are "Earthlock: Festival of Magic" and "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China." The former will be available starting Sept. 1 until Sept. 30 while the latter will be free beginning Sept. 16 up to Oct. 15.
For those who are not familiar with the upcoming free titles, it is detailed that "Earthlock: Festival of Magic" is a turn-based RPG which centers on classic-style fantasy. It follows the adventure of the protagonist named Amon, a desert scavenger in a world that has stopped spinning. The game is also set to be released on Steam with a price tag of $29.99.
On the other hand, "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China" is developed by Climax Studios and published by Ubisoft. It's also a turn-based RPG and a 2D side-scrolling spin-off to the main "Assassin's Creed" storyline. It follows a female protagonist named Shao Jun, who is the last standing Assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood. She is out to seek revenge against the Templars who caused the downfall of her Brotherhood.
As for the free Xbox 360 games, it is announced that the titles include "Forza Horizon," which will be available from Sept. 1 to Sept. 15, and "Mirror's Edge," which is available to download starting Sept. 16 until Sept. 30.
"Forza Horizon" is a racing video game by Microsoft Studios and was first released in 2012. Meanwhile, "Mirror's Edge" is an action-adventure platformer developed by EA DICE. It tells the story of Faith who lives in a quasi-futuristic dystopian society.
All of the games will be free for all Xbox Live Gold members even if they drop their subscription.
