Xiaomi Max release date, specs rumors: Device will get the same specs as Xiaomi Mi 5?
Tech freaks who are in search of an affordable smartphone with impressive specs may consider the upcoming Xiaomi Max. The development of the device appears to not getting so much hype compared to its competitors; however, the leak image of the gadget may have just opened the door to the rumor mill.
Based from the leaked image from Gizmo China, the smartphone is said to sport a massive 6.4-inch display. The device looks to have a slim build with three capacitive buttons. Although the Chinese electronics company has yet to confirm the news about the leaked image, tech observers believe that it definitely belongs to Xiaomi Max.
According to GSMArena and MyDrivers, the device will be powered by the reliable Snapdragon 820 processor, which also means that the other specs of Xiaomi Max will be just as impressive. There is no visible fingerprint scanner on the front of the device, but many believe that the feature can be found on the rear side.
The Snapdragon 820 chipset is currently being used by Xiaomi Mi 5, which is said to be doing well in the market. No details have been released as far as Xiaomi Max's specs are concerned, but because it carries the same processor as the Mi 5, tech freaks assume that it will also boast the same hardware.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 currently has 4 GB RAM for maximum usage; however, since Xiaomi Max is larger than the Mi5, there is a possibility that it will have 6 GB of RAM. The Mi5 also has 128 GB of storage capacity and fans expect that Xiaomi Max will get the same.
As of the moment, nothing has been set in stone yet. These reports are merely just rumors and speculations and until the company releases an official statement, these pieces of information must be taken with a grain of salt.
