Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 release date, specs news 2016: Device to be launched later this month?
Xiaomi has scheduled an event on July 27, which is believed to be for the launch of the highly-anticipated Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
The company shared an invite for the event set to take place at the China National Convention Center in Beijing but gave no clue as to what it will be all about.
It is believed that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will finally be unveiled there. The device has been rumored for a while and has popped up in numerous leaks.
In the latest leak featuring the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, it was confirmed that the device is getting a dual-rear camera setup. It is also expected that the fingerprint scanner will be moved to the home button.
The predecessor of the device had its fingerprint scanner on the back. However, there are appears to be some design changes for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The dual-camera setup seems to have called for some tweaks.
The Xiaomi device is also expected to come in a metal unibody with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor powering it up. It will be paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
Although the event appears to be centered on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the smartphone won't be the only one to be unveiled on the show.
As per GSM Arena, the so-called Mi Notebook, which is Xiaomi's upcoming laptop, will be unveiled at the affair as well. This device comes with an Intel Atom processor and resembles Apple's MacBook units, which is not much of a shock.
The laptop comes in two sizes – 12.5 inches and 13.3 inches. However, users can expect a much bigger 15.6-inch version of the notebook in the future.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and the Mi Notebook should be ready for a show this July 27, which is not too far away from now.
