According to reports, Apple will hold a special event next month to launch its new flagship laptop, the MacBook Pro 2016. There are speculations suggesting that Apple might also unveil the new iPad Mini 5 along with the new iPad Air 3. However, these reports have yet to be confirmed by the company.

The iPad Mini 4 was an instant hit when it was released in 2015. The current iteration is packed with major upgrades and interesting features that it immediately captured the attention of consumers across the world.

People are definitely excited for the new iPad Mini 5; however, a report from Christian Daily suggests that interested buyers may have to wait until next year before they can get a hold of it. According to the publication, new Apple products that were not launched during this month's company event might get unveiled in March 2017.

Meanwhile, it is also reported that the new iPad Mini 5 will sport a slimmer and lighter design compared to its predecessor. It is said to carry a Series 7000 aluminum casing, which was used in the development of the popular iPhone 6s.

In a report by The Bitbag, the new tablet may carry an 8 MP primary camera and a 1.2 MP front-facing snapper.

As of the moment, Apple has yet to provide the official details of the device and its release date. However, tech fans believe that it is only a matter of time before the company makes an official announcement.
