'Better Call Saul' season 3 spoilers, plot news: Chuck and Jimmy feud intensifies, Older McGill's motivations revealed

Chuck (Michael McKean) has never been the greatest brother to Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) and he is actually about to get worst in "Better Call Saul" season 3.

The older McGill has tricked his little brother into admitting to altering the Mesa Verde files. Chuck now has in possession a recording of the incriminating confession.

In "Better Call Saul" season 3, it will be revealed how much damage to Jimmy that Chuck will be able to orchestrate with the piece of evidence in his hands.

It appears that Chuck would not think twice watching Jimmy's life go nuclear in "Better Call Saul" season 3. McKean recently revealed his character's motivation in doing all these horrible things to his brother.

"His duplicity has been manifested all through the series. But, the very specific pain at the center of it, which has a lot to do with one simple fact, which is, 'I made my mom proud, but Jimmy made her laugh,'" the actor told Los Angeles Times.

Chuck knows that he can manipulate his brother through his concern for him, something that Chuck himself clearly does not have for his brother.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 will be problematic for Jimmy for sure, especially with the horrors Chuck has planned for him. Through this, Jimmy is getting closer to becoming Saul.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 will also mark the highly-anticipated arrival of drug kingpin and "Breaking Bad" favorite Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito).

Fans will also learn of Kim's (Rhea Seehorn) "wilder side" and her life before she met and fell in love with Jimmy in "Better Call Saul" season 3.

"We start to become aware that she's a complex character, and we start to see some of her attraction to Jimmy and the ways in which we're very different," Odenkirk teased in a Variety interview.
