A "Clash of Clans" update for December is reportedly in the works. It will reportedly be so huge it will rival the breakout augmented reality game, "Pokemon Go."

Supercell allegedly wants to surpass the popularity of the Niantic Labs game. The two are very different titles though and they have achieved quite a lot with regards to the respective categories and what they have to offer.

Either way, Supercell is looking to make players happy with the "Clash of Clans" December update, which is believed to become with Christmas-themed goodies.

Dataminers reportedly found fame files that suggest the addition of the new Barbarian King statue, which players can buy for 500 gems after the update rolls out.

The Red Barbarian King and the Red Archer Queen will also be available in the "Clash of Clans" December update and can be purchased through a gem package.

Additionally, priced at 50,000 gold, shipyards will reportedly be added to the game courtesy of the update as well. However, they will not be available until the Town Hall 4.

Rumors have it that there will also be all new settings to allow players to do shipwrecks to come in "Clash of Clans" December update and that players will get extra loot and rewards for them.

It is also speculated that there will be sea creatures to be introduced in the game in line with the shipwreck theme that might allow for water battles.

Since the "Clash of Clans" December update is expected to come around Christmas, holiday-themed items are expected to be added in the game with it.

Last but not the least, Supercell will also reportedly fortify its stand against cheating and exploits in "Clash of Clans" by banning those who take the easy way in the game.

With regards to when the update is exactly coming, no information has been provided about that yet, but with the month of December a stone's throw away, it will not be a long wait.
