'Dragon Ball Super' episode 76 spoilers: Goku meets his old foes again
As Goku continues his quest to kill boredom by training in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 76, he will encounter a slew of familiar faces from his past.
Some of Goku's most formidable and unforgettable villains will be back in "Defeating these Terrifying Enemies! Krillin's fighting spirit returns!" as the Saiyan and Krillin continue their training session under Master Roshi.
Frieza, Buu, Piccolo and even Vegeta appear out of nowhere in the middle of Goku and Krillin's mission in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 76, but not in the form that fans would expect.
According to the synopsis for the episode, Master Roshi instructs Goku and Krillin to retrieve a medicine known as the Paradise Grass in a "frightful forest."
"There they end up fighting against illusions of the likes of Frieza and Majin Buu that suddenly appear," the description for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 76 teased.
Goku is not at all fazed that his old foes somehow returned. Krillin, however, is horror-struck at the idea of having to battle them again.
According to the second part of the synopsis for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 76, Krillin "loses the will to fight," at the worst possible time no less.
"Krillin is gripped with fear at the prospect of fighting against his previously defeated rivals. Once he clears out these thoughts, the very next moment a change occurs in his enemies," the summary reads.
Unless they do not beat the bad guys again, Krillin and Goku will not be able to fetch the Paradise Grass that Master Roshi asked for. The former is not too concerned about it right now though.
Speaking of concerned, Android 18 is worried about Krillin after learning what he and Goku are up against. However, as the title of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 76 suggests, Krillin will rise above his fear in this episode.
How that will happen, fans will learn when "Dragon Ball Super" episode 76, in "Defeating these Terrifying Enemies! Krillin's fighting spirit returns!" airs Sunday, Jan. 29, on Fuji TV.
