Josh Duggar has exited from a Christian rehabilitation facility six months after he checked in to address porn addiction.

The former reality TV star completed his treatment at the Illinois-based Christian rehab center after he admitted to cheating on his wife Anna Duggar. Josh Duggar, 28, previously made headlines after his name surfaced in a data breach of cheating website Ashley Madison.

After the Ashley Madison scandal broke, Josh Duggar confessed that he had an addiction to pornography. Weeks before that, it was revealed that he had molested four of his sisters and another girl 10 years ago while he was a teen.

In a statement posted on the Duggar family's official website, the Christian family expressed their thanks to all the people who worked with Josh in his residential rehabilitation program. The family said the treatment is important for Josh's "recovery and healing," but they are also relying on God for guidance amidst the situation.

Josh is now back in Arkansas and will continue to undergo professional counseling and start patching up his relationships with his family, the Duggars said in the statement.

Meanwhile, his sisters appeared in promotional videos for "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," a new reality series featuring the two eldest married Duggar daughters. In the promo videos, Josh's sisters explain that they have already forgiven their brother for what he did a decade back.

Josh's wife, on the other hand, appears in the video to discuss the public humiliation they are going through.

"I don't know how to handle each situation," Anna Duggar says in the promo video. "It's not anything I ever would have thought I would walk through. [I tell myself,] 'Just do the next right thing, have the next right response for the next 15 minutes.'"
