The much awaited next "Final Fantasy" installment will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this Nov. 29. However, there are questions whether the game will be released in desktop PC in the near future. For now, there are no clear indications yet that the "Final Fantasy XV" will have a PC version, but Square Enix does not seem to be closing its doors.

As reported by WCCF Tech, "Final Fantasy" game producer Hajime Tabata revealed in an interview with a Spanish entertainment website Vida Extra that "Final Fantasy XV" will have its PC version released for more than a year after the home console release. Tabata also added that he and his team wanted to focus on a better game version for the PS4 and Xbox One console users at the meantime.

Many gamers who prefer using their own personal computers to play the "Final Fantasy" series have created an online petition so that Square Enix would think again and consider changing their minds after saying that they would not create a PC version for the game title.

As for the console users, they are now all hyped up for the release of "Final Fantasy XV" by the end of this month. Most especially, PS4 Pro users will receive some good news as there will be two special patch updates for the new console. The first update will feature a framerate of 60fps while keeping the resolution at 1080p, while the second update will feature a full 4K resolution and keep the 30fps framerate, Yibada reported.

Meanwhile, Techno Buffalo reported that there is also a chance for a Nintendo Switch version for "Final Fantasy XV", citing Tabata giving positive remarks regarding the new Nintendo gaming device. He expressed his interest that the upcoming "Final Fantasy" installment will also be ported to the latest console, although Square Enix has not yet formally announce their plans to make game versions other than for PS4 and Xbox One.
