The end result of Frank Underwood's (Kevin Spacey) frightful words in the final moments of the fourth season of "House of Cards" will manifest in season 5.

The show closed its fourth run on Netflix with a warning from the cunning politician: "We don't submit to terror. We make the terror,"

The first clip for the new season of the political drama teases that Frank and Claire (Robin Wright) will make good with their promise in "House of Cards" season 5.

The video merely showed the American flag waving high in the sky as the Pledge of Allegiance is recited in a dark, ominous tone that suggests that trouble abounds.

Not much is known about "House of Cards" season 5 plot-wise, but the warning suggests that it will be a terrifying year for the people of America.

However, spoilers for the new season suggest that there will be reasons to worry about Frank, who is rumored to meet his demise in "House of Cards" season 5.

According to reports, he will meet his tragic fate at the hands of his First Lady, who is reportedly intent on replacing him as the head of state. However, there is no official information to corroborate that yet.

What fans can expect to transpire, however, is Frank's showdown with Will Conway (Joel Kinnaman). The young politician definitely has Spacey's character shaken and worried about his position in the White House.

While the clip did not reveal so much in terms of the story, it did reveal the release date for "House of Cards" season 5 — May 30. This is the first time it will air on that month.

The first three seasons dropped February while the fourth season was released March last year. It is unclear as to why chose to bring out new episodes much later than usual.
