Huawei Honor 8 release date, specs news 2016: Hybrid phablet to come out in June?

Huawei has been making a lot of buzz lately as it prepares to announce its new flagship smartphone, Honor V8. However, another device from the Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company might steal the attention. According to reports, Huawei is also gearing up towards the release of its new phablet called, Huawei Honor 8.

The device is dubbed by many tech observers as the most beautiful handset the company will ever release. The handheld device has become quite a mystery to many tech fans; however, a new leaked that have emerged on the Internet shows the handset, which looks pretty impressive. The device is said to be released in June but fans will have to wait for the company to provide solid details with regard to its development and release date.

The Chines website, Gizmo China shared the leaked image of the phablet along with its specifications. According to the report, the device will come with a 5.2-inch screen, which is a bit smaller than the flagship Honor V8. It also shows the model number of the Huawei Honor 8, which is FRD-AL00 and FRD-AL10. If rumors prove to be true, the upcoming Huawei phablet may arrive in the market with two variants. The Chinese publication also suggested that the company has yet to finish the development of the device, which is given the codename, "Faraday."

Meanwhile, the specs under the hood will be headed by Kirin 950 or Kirin 955 chipset. The processor is said to be paired with 4 GB of RAM for optimal usage. There are also speculations that the handset may come with a wireless charging feature. It carries a 3,000 mAh battery and a USB Type-C port.

Fans are expecting the company to provide more solid details about the rumored phablet before its arrival date. As of the moment, Huawei has yet to confirm these reports.
