A lot of speculation is surrounding Apple's release of the iPad Pro 2, and since Apple hasn't made any official announcements, people have been scrambling and speculating on when the tech giant is going to release the next device in the iPad Pro series.

MacWorld suggests that an announcement may be coming from Apple in late November, but seeing as there are only two days left in the month, the guess may just turn out to be wrong. This fall witnessed two Apple events, one in September, which focused on the release of the iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2; and in October, which featured the announcement of a new MacBook Pro.

Since no news has officially been announced about the iPad Pro 2, it's possible that the company may be waiting until next year.

Some speculate that the device won't even be called the iPad Pro 2 upon its release. It's possible that Apple could just simply call it the new iPad Pro, seeing as this is what was done for the iPad.

A release of three iPads may be expected next year. One would be the 12. 9-inch version of the iPad Pro, another would be a tablet with a 10.5-inch screen, and the third would be the iPad Pro 2.

Some guess that if Apple was going to up the ante with the release of an updated iPad, it would be obvious that the iPad Pro 2 would come with a faster processor, a better camera, and boosted specs. A lot of news have come out that Apple will be foregoing the home button on future devices, so the iPad Pro 2 may very well also see its removal in lieu of an edge-to-edge display.

Tech enthusiasts suspect that the iPad Pro 2 could be coming out sometime in early 2017.

Readers should take note that no official announcement has been made by the company, so all of this news should be taken with a grain of salt.
