Despite his injury, basketball star Jeremy Lin still finds time to mingle with his fans.

Last Tuesday, the Brooklyn Net dropped by the NBA store in New York City to help celebrate the Lunar New Year. He talked to fans, signed autographs, and took some photos with them. Lin also watched Chinese Lion Dancers perform for everyone inside the store. Lin appears in the NBA's Chinese New Year ad for 2017 with Stephen Curry.

General manager Sean Marks announced on Monday that Lin won't be playing for another "three to five weeks" after re-aggravating a hamstring injury. He was supposed to be one of the team's most promising members, but Lin has played only 12 games. The veteran guard initially strained his left hamstring on Nov. 2 and missed a total of 17 games the following month. He later injured the same hamstring but in a different area on Dec. 26 and missed his 14th game. It is believed that the earliest Lin might return is mid-February in the Nets' final game before the All-Star break, and he could be on the sidelines until March.

The 28-year-old recently took to social media and shared his thoughts about his injury, admitting there are times that he would question God about his situation. Lin's latest setback marks the third time this season that he's missed a number of games, and he expressed his disappointment over his condition.

"I have all the natural emotions that comes with an injury," he wrote on Facebook. "Some moments I feel super motivated. Some moments I feel defeated. Some moments I want to yell at God in frustration. Why now? Why not when I was a backup point guard the last 4 years? All the hard work I put into training, developing a new shot, regaining my confidence, having my desired role, the right coach and the right system. A year of my prime down the drain," the athlete added.

Lin wrapped up his lengthy post by asking his fans to continue praying for his recovery.
