January may already be rolling out pretty well already but BioWare still continues to keep its "Mass Effect: Andromeda" date cards concealed from the public. However, a possible leak may have inadvertently revealed when exactly the highly anticipated game will finally hit the market.

Apparently, some eagle-eyed gamers have spotted on the official website of Xbox Live Rewards that the upcoming action role-playing game (RPG) is scheduled to be publicly available on March 31.

Since the sighting has garnered much attention, the website has made some changes with the placeholders no longer tagged in the title. But still, it makes for an interesting conversation to have players' hopes up about the release in a couple of months if not exactly by the end of March. Who knows, the specific rollout date may even be already coming everyone's way given that game producer Michael Gamble just teased about new details to be announced today.

Meanwhile, in terms of consoles that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will eventually arrive on, BioWare reveals that as of now there are no plans of bringing the hyped sequel to Nintendo's upcoming hybrid device, the Nintendo Switch.

"Yeah, not right now, no," Gamble said when he sat down with Stevivor to talk about the title. "We're not planning on it. If the Switch launches and everyone's just yammering for Mass Effect, who knows."

BioWare is taking more time to decide whether it will join the bandwagon or not for the Nintendo Switch, which is understandable especially so with the Japanese company not having the best history with third-party content makers.

However, just because it is not yet happening now means that it will stay like that forever. The exec reiterated that they are keeping their options open in terms of eventually working on a "Mass Effect: Andromeda" for Nintendo Switch. "We never want to close doors like that," he added.

So far "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is already confirmed to be arriving to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
