Miami Heat trade rumors 2016: Heat and Kings rumors come out again

After a slow start to the 2016-17 campaign, trade rumors are constantly surrounding the Miami Heat and they are once again connected to a Western Conference team.

According to rumors, the Heat may once again be linked to the Sacramento Kings in a move that will see Goran Dragic to the Western Conference, while the Heat may get a couple of decent players that could help turn their season around.

At the moment, the Heat are 1-2. They won their first game of the season against the Orlando Magic. However, they dropped consecutive games against the Charlotte Hornets and the San Antonio Spurs.

The lack of star power may cause the Heat to possibly lose out on the playoff race, so getting new players may be a requirement if they want to save this campaign.

For the Heat, they are rumored to be acquiring Rudy Gay and Darren Collison in exchange for Dragic.

Collison is currently out for a few games as he is serving an eight-game suspension due to an off-court issue.

He is scheduled to be back by the second week of November, but if he were to land in Miami, he offers great ball-handling and decent scoring abilities.

In his career, Collison averages 12.6 points, 4.9 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game. In his career, Collison averages 47 percent from the field, while shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc.

Meanwhile, Gay is also a great addition as it would give the Heat a potent scoring threat as he averages 18.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. This would more than make up for the losses they had last season as Gay may work with young stars like Justise Winslow and Hassan Whiteside.

There are a lot of rumors linking the two teams together and it may just be a matter of time before it comes true.
