Users of Microsoft Surface Studio and Surface Pro 4 will soon experience better performance via the new firmware update.

The new firmware update is currently being rolled out for the Microsoft Surface Studio and Surface Pro 4. The update improved Surface Studio by waking up from the sleep mode faster than ever. Furthermore, its Ethernet features and video calling are reportedly improved.

"We're happy to announce today that we've released updated drivers for Surface Studio and Surface Pro 4," notes Microsoft on its official blog.

"These updates include new drivers and firmware for NVIDIA GeForce GPU, Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) Audio Controller, Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I219-LM and Surface UEFI on Surface Studio and Intel(R) Precise Touch Device and Surface UEFI on Surface Pro 4," the company adds.

Surface Pro 4 gets to have longer battery life, keyboard enhancement and better storage performance. With its all-new Surface UEFI and Precise Touch by Intel, the hybrid tablet has been more innovative than ever. Other improvements include Skype and video calling features.

Microsoft is currently being talked about as the company that received praises for its Surface lines. This has resulted in the public recognizing the company as the leader of two-in-one devices. In fact, the Surface Pro 5 and the Surface Phone are highly anticipated for their impressive specs, which have already been featured in the current models.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has been bragged about by the company as its most powerful device at that time. The hybrid device can also function as a laptop due to its fold-out keyboard.

The Surface Studio, on the other hand, gave a good impression due to its thinner display and 20-degree foldable feature that can be used for work or for any other creative tasks by the professionals.

Instructions on how to download the firmware updates can be accessed at the official blogsite of Microsoft.
