Despite a poor start to the season, many are considering this year's Philadelphia 76ers a better version of who they were last year and that is thanks to the development of their young players.

At the moment, the Sixers have a plethora of young stars who can play and they are growing at a steady pace, much to the delight of fans.

However, it would be impossible to keep everyone, especially in the center position as there are three very capable players who can fulfill that role for the franchise.

This year, Joel Embiid has been shining as he averages around 18.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in his first 10 matches for the Sixers. While not all have resulted in wins, it has been an incredible start for the University of Kansas standout.

Next is Jahlil Okafor who has been the team's main center when the other two were out. His career averages show just how capable is. A line of 16.2 points and 6.3 rebounds can be relied on by whichever team he is placed in.

Finally, there is Nerlens Noel who has yet to make his debut this year after suffering an injury on his left knee. Prior to that, Noel has averaged 10.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game for the Sixers.

Now that he is nearing a return, rumors are circulating that he may eventually be dealt this year as the team chooses to stick with Okafor and Embiid as their centers.

This is a big blow to Noel who looks comfortable when playing with the Sixers, but they eventually have to choose and it appears Noel is the odd-man out.

There should not be a shortage of suitors for Noel as he is a very young player with a bright future. It is all a matter of fit for him where he can maximize his skills.

The only thing that could slow him down are his injuries and whether teams decide not to pull the trigger on a trade due to his health.
