The Nexus 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus are often classified as "fabulous." While this might loosely rhyme with "phablet," it does not mean that they are equal in terms of features and functionality.

When comparing the two phablets, it is evident that Google and Apple took different paths when creating the design for each. Those who are looking for premium design elements will be carried away with the full aluminum body and stunning buttons of the iPhone 6 Plus. While the Nexus 6 falls way short in the style department, it is much easier to hold as it features a curved back superior external speakers, while the iPhone 6 plus has a flat back.

Also while the overall size of the Nexus 6 is very much like that of the iPhone 6 Plus, it has a bigger six-inch screen because it features super small bezels.

While users are going to be impressed at first glance by the bigger screen of the Nexus 6, the iPhone 6 Plus outshines it in terms of display quality.

The Nexus 6 also has the best in terms of processors, as it features a Snapdragon 805 chipset coupled with 3 GB of RAM while iPhone 6 Plus has the A8 Chipset coupled with 1GB of RAM. However, these phablets are equal in terms of performances as their operating systems are new.

When it comes to cameras on the phones, the Nexus 6 beats the iPhone 6 Plus by a slim margin when it comes to taking photos but lags behind in video quality.

Many will prefer the Nexus 6 because of its price. The basic 32GB Nexus 6 is priced at $649, while the 64GB version is priced at $699.

On the other hand, the iPhone 6 Plus 16GB costs $749 while its 64GB version is priced at $849. The 128GB iPhone 6 Plus, which costs $949, is even more expensive than a MacBook Air.
