NVIDIA has been successful in launching their new GeForce GTX graphics cards based on the latest Pascal architecture. However, it appears that the OEM is not yet done in releasing more powerful Pascal GPUs in the near future. According to the latest rumors, a new GeForce video card, the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti, will be released in the early part of 2017. Its specs are expected to be more powerful than the previous GeForce graphics cards, even the Pascal Titan X.

As reported by Yibada, the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti is expected to boast RAM of up to 10 GB. In comparison, the base GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card has 8 GB RAM, suggesting that the GTX 1080 Ti will work more efficiently and faster than its previous version. However, the Pascal Titan X may still be left untouched by the GTX 1080 Ti, as the former has up to 12 GB of RAM.

The online publication also noted that the GTX 1080 Ti will be utilizing NVIDIA's GP102 GPU, which is also the same GPU used by the Pascal Titan X. The GP102's 384-bit memory interface will be perfect for those who want to experience a full 4K viewing, giving more emphasis on the high-resolution textures.

According to the Latin Post, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will have up to 3328 CUDA cores. It is expected to receive a power-up of up to 1.6 GHz boost clock, resulting to an impressive 10.8 TFLOPs of graphics power.

The upcoming GeForce GTX 1080 is expected to have a thermal design power of 250 watts, also similar to the Pascal Titan X. This is perfect for the players of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and "Battlefield 1" because the graphics card will support these game's system requirements just fine.

WCCF Tech speculates that the GTX 1080 Ti will be more powerful than the Titan X in some aspects, although it could be a little less expensive. Specifically, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will have a tag price not greater than $1,000. Furthermore, it is rumored that the GTX 1080 Ti will be unveiled at the Consumers Electronic Show (CES) 2017, which will take place in January next year.
