With November coming to a close, PlayStation Plus subscribers are eagerly anticipating the imminent release of the official list of free games for the month of December.

While the announcement from Sony is certainly just days away, the internet is nonetheless teeming with people's predictions on which of their beloved PlayStation games could be included in the free games list for PlayStation Plus subscribers next month. Among the titles rumored for the December list are "The Walking Dead: Michonne," "Unravel," "Gravity Rush Remastered," "Hyper Light Drifter," and "Wolfenstein: The New Order."

In November, the free games list included "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture," "Costume Quest 2," "Dirt 3," "The Deadly Tower of Monsters," "Letter Quest Remastered," and "Pumped BMX+." Because this lineup consisted of several new and well-received titles, gamers expect the upcoming free games to match them in quality and popularity.

PlayStation Universe predicts that the PlayStation Plus December 2016 free games list could include the puzzle platform video game "Unravel," the survival horror video game "The Walking Dead: Michonne," and the action/adventure video game "Gravity Rush Remastered."

"Unravel," released in February, is a critically acclaimed puzzle-platformer about an anthropomorphic character called Yarny. Players navigate Yarny through the environment, using his yarn to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and fend off dangerous creatures.

"The Walking Dead: Michonne," released between February and April this year, is based on Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" comic book series and follows Michonne as she temporarily separates from Rick and the rest of the group.

"Gravity Rush Remastered," which was released in Japan last year and in North America and in Europe this year, allows players to manipulate gravity, offering new and innovative ways to move their characters and to navigate.

Meanwhile, Chatt Sports Net suggests that "Hyper Light Drifter" and "Wolfenstein: The New Order" are also likely candidates for the PlayStation Plus December 2016 free games list.

"Hyper Light Drifter," released in March, is a 2D action role-playing video game that has been described as a combination of "Diablo" and "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past."

"Wolfenstein: The New Order," released back in 2014, is the oldest title predicted for the December free games list. Its inclusion in the lineup is expected to boost interest in the game's rumored sequel, which is supposedly coming in 2017.
