"Pokemon Go" players now have the chance to get Ditto, one of the original pocket monsters that fans have been waiting to see turn up in the hit augmented reality game.

The "Pokemon Go" Celebration event held by Niantic Labs paved the way for the entrance of Ditto. It is a bit tricky to get him but there is a way to get better chances.

To catch a Ditto, players much catch one of these Pokemon: Duduo, Ekans, Magikarp, Mankey, Metapod, Nidoran, Paras, Pidgey, Rattata, Spearow, Snorlax, Venonat or Zubat.

These Pokemon have a better chance of turning into Ditto. "Pokemon Go" players will immediately know after they catch one of the abovementioned Pokemon.

Of course, not all of these pocket monsters will end up being Ditto, but they should give players a likelier chance to get the evasive Pokemon.

Once "Pokemon Go" players catch the said Pokemon and transform into Ditto, it will remain to be Ditto forever although it will still mimic opponents as it is one of its techniques.

Ditto is known for mimicking other Pokemon, which is why "Pokemon Go" players should be extra observant of the ones they catch. It is much better for players to catch as many Pokemon as possible.

"Ditto has been known to disguise itself as other Pokemon, so keep an eye out, some Pokemon may actually be Ditto, and when you capture them, there's a chance that Ditto will reveal itself. If you do encounter a Pokémon that is Ditto in disguise, the Pokemon in that specific encounter will also reveal itself as Ditto for other Trainers," Niantic explained.

Speaking more about how Ditto will work in "Pokemon Go, " fans can expect it to be extra unique when players interact with Gyms.

"When training or battling at a Gym, Ditto will copy the appearance, types, and moves of the first Pokémon it sees, and it will stay that way through the remainder of those Gym battles," Niantic explained.
