'Sleepy Hollow' season 4 episode 4 spoilers: John Noble returns as Henry Parrish; Ichabod relives a hellish memory

The next episode of "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 will see the full extent of the creature that got a hold of Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) in "Heads of State."

In their effort to stop the Headless Horseman, the group ended up trapping the villain in J Street. However, when they went out there, a creature came along with them.

This very creature will be the latest Ichabod and the team will deal with in "Sleepy Hollow" season 4, episode 4, "The People vs. Ichabod Crane."

This monster has the power to have its victims relive their most nightmarish of memories. For Ichabod, it is having to deal with the world turning against him.

As seen in the promo for "Sleepy Hollow" season 4, episode 4, Ichabod finds himself on trial during the Colonial era or the 18th century. Everyone was hell-bent on making him pay for whatever it is that he is done.

The way this goes, "Sleepy Hollow" season 4, episode 4 will give fans a deeper look at Ichabod's past. Having lived for almost three centuries now, the First Witness definitely has a litany of memories both good and bad.

This is just one of them. Unless Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) and the rest of the team figure out the monster's weakness and stop it, Ichabod will be forced to play this dark part of his part over and over.

"Sleepy Hollow" season 4, episode 4 will be extra exciting as this will mark the return of John Noble as Henry Parrish. As fans know, the supernatural drama underwent a soft reboot with new location and new cast.

Many of the stars from the previous seasons are not returning, but Noble will reprise his role in this episode and he might even play a crucial role.

The synopsis for "Sleepy Hollow" season 4, episode 4 teases that Jenny will make an "unlikely bond that could be important in saving the world." Whether or not this will involve Henry remains to be seen.
