Naturally, after the announcement of the official title for "Star Wars: Episode 8," which is "The Last Jedi," fans dove right into the speculating what it could mean.

Fans were immediately worried about Luke Skywalker's (Mark Hamill) life after learning of the title as it gave the impression that it was referring to only one person, which is Rey (Daisy Ridley).

As "Star Wars: Episode 8" spoilers revealed, she will be trained by Luke at planet Ahch-To to be a Jedi, making her the "last" of her kind. However, many noted that Jedi can be plural, which means the title could be referring to both Luke and Rey.

Another thing about the title that fans noticed is the color of the text. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was written in yellow text, but "Star Wars: Episode 8" uses the color red.

In the galaxy far, far away, this color is almost always ominous as it usually represents the dark side of the Force. Many believe that the crimson text is not used by accident.

IGN points out that the only two movies in the "Star Wars" franchise that use such color on posters are "Return of the Jedi" and "Revenge of the Sith."

Interestingly, both these movies saw Darth Vader changed sides — the former saw him return to the force of good while the latter, which is the third of the prequel trilogy, saw him embrace his inner Sith.

If this is applied in "Star Wars: Episode 8" in choosing the color of the title, a character might change sides in "The Last Jedi." Based on this aspect alone, this has some speculating that Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) could be the center of this inner conflict.

It is no secret that Ben Solo is still occasionally being pulled by the light side despite his desire to be on the dark side.

Additionally, his determination to be the next Darth Vader could also mean that he might go through the same transformation his grandfather went through. This means that while he will be on the dark side for a while, he might find himself on the light side too.

"Star Wars: Episode 8 – The Last Jedi" will be in cinemas Dec. 15.
