'Suits' season 6B spoilers: premiere episode hints at chaos at the Specter and Litt law firm

Harvey (Macht) and Louis (Hoffman) in "Suits" season 6, episode 11 promo still | USA Network

After a long wait, Harvey (Gabriel Macht), Louis (Rick Hoffman) and what is left of the former Pearson, Specter Litt law firm is already gearing for a comeback this coming Wednesday. And just when everybody thought that they have already scored their own respective wins in the midseason finale, a new challenge, arguably a bigger one, is headed their way now that Jessica (Gina Torres) has already walked out the door.

The latter half of "Suits" season 6 will presumably continue the firm's struggle to get back to their old status as one of New York's most coveted legal firms. But while the team has already started laying the ground for their rebuilding, some internal struggle could be expected especially with catalyst Jessica no longer in the picture. With Harvey and Louis presumably sharing equal reigns in the company, it might not be a good idea to hope for a smooth-sailing ride in the next couple of episodes. If the promo clip for the forthcoming episode, "She's Gone" is any indication, the two's witty banter will definitely not be lost on them.

Meanwhile, Mike (Patrick J. Adams), now out of the prison, can obviously give a lending hand, especially during these times. Harvey has already offered him a legal job at what could possibly be just Specter and Litt, but the former quasi-lawyer was obviously shaken up by his stint in jail that he did not jump into the opportunity. Much like him, his fiancée Rachel (Meghan Markle) is also contemplating on a job offer, not that she needs one as she is still the paralegal in the firm. But her father, Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce), is trying to convince her to transfer to his company. On top of the decision that she needs to make, Rachel is also juggling her law school, which has proved to be stressful thus far.

"Suits" season 6 is scheduled to start airing new episodes starting Jan. 25 and will continue to do every Wednesday, 9 p.m. ET, on USA Network.
