The "biggest downloadable content (DLC) to date" of Creative Assembly's "Total War: Warhammer" is set to announce its arrival two weeks from now, just right in time for the holidays — just the nicest gift any "Total War" fan could ever dream of. And what's more? The forthcoming expansion is now tipped to be a treasure trove of its biggest add-ons.

Dubbed "Realm of the Elves," the expansion is set to introduce new feats such as legendary units along with magic and monsters to complement its new lords and heroes. Perhaps its biggest reveal is Durthu, described by PC Gamer as the latest Legendary Lord to meander in the game's murder grounds, and who is also a dwarf-hating Elder of Athel Loren, the Eldest of Ancients.

Furthermore, the Lord Durthu's spirit is said to have been mired with forlorn as he has experienced centuries of bloodshed and total chaos, on top of him being a witness to his homeland's destruction. As such, Durthu has taken a malevolent great amber sword which is forged by an elf and is destruction itself. Ultimately, the character can no longer see reason due to his abiding derangement. With a background and motivation as heavy as these, Durthu is bound to bring some flavor to "Total War: Warhammer."

"Total War: Warhammer's Realm of the Elves" has also made its presence on its official Facebook page. It further describes Durthu as, 'He makes no distinction between the lost, the innocent and the wicked." It adds, "All who treads Durthu's beloved glades without leave are doomed if the Elder happens upon them."

Developed by Creative Assembly, the turn-based strategy and real-time tactics video game, "Total War: Warhammer" was released worldwide for iOS on Nov. 22, 2016. Meanwhile, it was released on Linux on May 24,2016.
