'Winds of Winter' release date, news, updates, rumors: Will the Targaryens and Starks be united?

"Winds of Winter" is the most awaited sixth installment of the book series, "A Song of Fire and Ice" by George R.R. Martin. There are not many details yet for the upcoming book, but it does not stop fans from speculating about what will happen to the sequel.

There are speculations that "Winds of Winter" will be split into three parts, but there has been no confirmation yet if each segment will have a different plot. A lot of fans are already being impatient with regards to its release, but it seems that the author, George R.R. Martin, is not in a hurry to finish the book.
