Microsoft has unveiled its lineup for Xbox Games with Gold free games that will be available for Xbox 360 and Xbox One players in December.

Xbox 360 and Xbox One players each get two dedicated titles, but the Xbox 360 video games can also be played on the Xbox One through Backward Compatibility.

This week, Xbox Wire announced that "Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition" will be made available for download from Dec. 1 to Dec. 31 for the Xbox One. "Outlast," the other Xbox One title, will be made available between Dec. 16 and Jan. 15.

"Outland," which can be played on both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One, can be downloaded from Dec. 1 to Dec. 15. "Burnout Paradise," which will be downloadable between Dec. 16 and Dec. 31, can also be played on both Xbox consoles.

"Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition," released in 2014, is a remaster of the main game that contains the 24 previously released DLC, as well as improved graphics and changes to the audiovisual quality and gameplay.

"Outlast," released way back in 2013, is a first-person survival horror video game that follows investigative journalist Miles Upshur as he looks into a remote psychiatric hospital. A sequel for the game is in production and is slated for an early 2017 release.

"Outland," which debuted more than five years ago, is an award-winning 2D platform game from Housemarque and Ubisoft. The game's PC version was released in 2014 while the Linux version came out in 2015.

"Burnout Paradise," the fifth main installment in the "Burnout" racing video game, is more than eight years old but is recognized as one of the best open-world racing games ever released. Engadget says that the game has been one of the most highly requested titles since Microsoft announced its Backward Compatibility program for the Xbox One.

Before these upcoming free games become available for download, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can still avail of "Murdered: Soul Suspect," one of the free games for November. It can be downloaded until Dec. 15 for the Xbox One.
