'19 Kids and Counting' Duggar Family news update: Josh Duggar won't be in 'Counting On'
Scandal-plagued former "19 Kids and Counting" star Josh Duggar won't be making an appearance in the small screen anytime soon, contrary to reports.
Reports about the eldest Duggar sibling making his television debut in the second season of "Counting On" are "absolutely untrue," as per a source that spoke to People.

Duggar has returned in Arkansas after spending seven months in a faith-based rehab he enrolled himself to after his name was attached to child molestation cases and pornography addiction.
Last year, Duggar admitted that he molested four of his sisters and another girl a decade ago. He then confessed being addicted to pornography, which led to the discovery of his accounts on the affair site Ashley Madison.
Although Duggar is back with his family, it appears that he won't be rejoining them on television. Reports about him joining the TLC series featuring the Duggars started with a report on InTouch.
"The plan is for him to address everything he's done. What he has to say will be ratings gold, and TLC — and the Duggars — know it," the insider told the site.
It appears that Duggar will focus on restoring his marriage with his wife Anna. Together, the couple has four children. Since their reunion, they have been seeing a professional marriage and family counsellor.
"It isn't easy and some days are very difficult. It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship. We are very thankful for God's forgiveness, grace and help, as it is our strength and guide to rebuilding our lives," the couple said in a statement posted on their family blog.
Back in May (two months after he came out of the rehab), Duggar was spotted selling used cars in Arkansas. Duggar had to quit his job at the Family Research Council following the scandals.
At the moment, it appears that the former "19 Kids and Counting" star will shy away from television appearances.
