Action-drama television series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." wrapped up season 3 with major cliffhangers. Now fans are looking forward to its season 4 premiere to find out what happens next after the events from the previous finale.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 is going to continue the story six months after Lincoln's (Luke Mitchell) death and Hive's (Brett Dalton) downfall. Fans can expect some major changes in the storyline as the characters' lives have been shaken up due to the previous events. For starters, it was revealed that Phil (Clark Gregg) is no longer the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

It's not known yet who took over the organization and why Phil had to step down but fans can catch more of that in the fourth run. Daisy (Chloe Bennet) has also gone rogue and has been identified as "Quake" for using her powers to destroy buildings.

Introduction of new characters is also expected to happen. As detailed on TV Line, the LMD or Life-Model Decoys plot is going to carry on to the fourth season. Fans may recall that before the season 3 finale ended, Holden (John Hannah) was seen finalizing the robot project. The LMDs in Marvel Comics were made to take the form of a person and act as body double for the agents.

In line with that, the publication noted that the ABC series is looking to cast the recurring role of AIDA (Affective Intelligent Driving Agent), who is described to be a "very attractive" robot. But how will things turn out for the LMDs? The technology has been known to spin out of control and bring major problems.

Aside from AIDA, the series is also said to introduce a pair of Latino brothers. One is described as "always the most dangerous person" while the other one is paralyzed in a chair. Rumors suggest that the able brother is going to be Ghost Rider but not the Johnny Blaze version. Instead, it will be Robbie Reyes, an incarnation of Ghost Rider who was first introduced in comics in 2014 and has a disabled brother named Gabriel.
