'American Horror Story' season 6 spoilers news: Finn Wittrock not returning?

Finn Wittrock might not be appearing in "American Horror Story" season 6. The actor currently has his focus on an upcoming film, but he is willing to make an appearance.
"There's a little film stuff happening so it might be tough schedule wise, but yeah, I definitely want to do it," actor told The Wrap. "I've talked about doing a few episodes, but nothing has been set in stone," he continued.
The "American Horror Story" regular has nabbed the titular role in the film "Abe," which is slated for release early next year. He has also just finished filming "La La Land," which will be out December this year.
This is what kept the actor busy, but he still hopes to squeeze in "American Horror Story" season 6 to his schedule. However, fans of the actor will have to wait for further details about his possible return.
Wittrock started his "American Horror Story" stint in the fourth season "Freak Show," where he portrayed the role of a spoiled son and psychopath named Dandy, who has a murderous clown for a friend. He was in "American Horror Story: Hotel" as well.
Despite his inclusion in "American Horror Story" season 6 still up in the air, Wittrock had a few teasers to give when it comes to the storyline of the new chapter of the FX horror anthology.
"I have heard it is going to be a little tighter — there were so many story lines in the last one and it was so big and epic, I have a feeling it might be a little more claustrophobic. A smaller cast," Wittrock explained.
Media outlets believe that what Wittrock was trying to say is that "American Horror Story" season 6 will now follow a central, more focused storyline instead of introducing various plot threads all over the place.
Wittrock said that more specific details should come out in the next months since right now, they are still writing and "figuring out what to do."
"American Horror Story" season 6 is expected to premiere on FX this October.
