Apple iPhone 7 was once again leaked online, this time in the form of its purported schematics that tip Apple's decision to shy away from giving the much talked about flagship a facelift.

In the schematics shared by Nowhereelse.fr, it was revealed that the iPhone 7 will be almost impossible to tell apart with the iPhone 6s. The overall look of the current iPhone will be preserved in this year's flagship.

Even the iPhone 6s's form factor and the thickness will be the same with that of the iPhone 7. It is a mystery why Apple chose to keep the same design, although fans have definitely been looking forward to some revamps.

The tech giant from Cupertino is allegedly saving up big design changes on the 2017 iPhone, which is expected to be bezel-less, which means that the screen will take over the front of the device. The front-camera and Touch ID sensor will allegedly be embedded.

Going back, it is important to note that even though the iPhone 7 schematics hint only minor changes, these tweaks can already do so much in terms of the performance of the new iPhone.

As pointed out by Forbes, the space of the camera module is relatively larger than the one on the iPhone 6s. This is believed to cater to an improvement in the device's shooter, possibly larger individual pixels and quicker aperture.

This also backs up rumors that the iPhone 7 Plus version will exclusively get a dual camera setup. This is according to the unswerving KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

According to him, Apple will release two versions of the bigger iPhone 7—one with rear single-camera and the other sporting rear dual-camera. However, the United States is expected to get the latter only.

Kuo claims that this variant will come with 3 GB RAM "to meet image processing requirements." He added that around 20 to 30 million units will be shipped during the second half of 2016.

Apart from a dual-camera setup, the rumored Smart Connector is also believed to be limited to the iPhone 7 Plus.
