Apple to conduct a full overhaul for the MacBook Pro series

Apple fans have been scrambling online to get news on the new MacBook Pro, and reports are saying that, for the first time in four years, Apple will be doing a complete overhaul to its MacBook Pro laptop series.
The report comes from Bloomberg Technology, and they say that the move by Apple is a way to use older products to help remedy their falling profits from the previous two quarters. The updated laptops are said to be thinner and have more efficient graphics processors. The device will also have a touchscreen strip function for keys.
The new screen strip function is an improvement to the MacBook Pro that will have a secondary display above the keyboard which takes the place of all the function keys. Instead of physical keys, the strip will change according to the task at hand, and will hopefully make it easier for users to complete certain tasks.
The new display will be making use of organic light-emitting diodes or OLEDs, and they will be thinner, lighter, and have sharper screen technology way more advanced than previous Apple products.
The new MacBook is also said to feature new Touch ID fingerprint technology which will allow users to log-in to their devices more easily and verify Apple Pay purchases.
Some experts speculated that the new MacBook Pro would be announced at the same time as the new iPhone, but insiders have said that it is not very likely. Even Apple spokesman Bill Evans declined to comment when asked about the new MacBook.
Back when the iPad was announced, Steve Jobs predicted that tablets would be the eventual replacement for the PC, but as of now, Apple has been seeing a rise in sales for its MacBook Pro, as compared to its iPad sales, which have dwindled by 23 percent.
