Apple Watch 2 release date, specs news: Rumored to launch in 2016; device will have a sleeker, lighter design

A lot of news and rumors have been coming out about the Apple Watch 2, and fans are extremely positive that the device will be revealed sometime later this year — either this autumn or any time before the ever-important holiday season.
One report talks about the different features that the Apple Watch 2 is rumored to have. One notable feature is the focus of health when it comes to the new Apple device. The first Apple Watch was said to have sensors that would allow it to read the heart rate and blood oxygen level of the wearer, but the technology was not deemed ready for the release and was scrapped from the device. Apple has since then been focusing a lot of their resources to improve on the health options of the Apple Watch 2.
Speaking of healthy bodies, the Apple Watch 2 is said to have a thinner body this time around. Not much will be changed about the look, but new tech used on the watch will allow the device to be thinner and lighter than before. There were also rumors that the watch's design will be circular instead of the first release's square shape, but those rumors are said to be false.
The device is also said to have a longer battery life. When the Apple Watch was first released, many complaints that came out were about its short battery life. This time around, the device has an S2 chipset that is said to require less battery power — this will most likely give it one to two more hours of battery life, and not a full day battery like some users would hope.
The watch will also run with the watchOS 3 which was showcased back in the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
The Apple Watch 2 is rumored to make a debut sometime this autumn.
